Care Plan Highlights
For non-emergency matters, we encourage you to reach out to the company via email at info@gaiainternalmedicine.com or through your OnPateint portal secure message. We commit to responding to your messages within 48 hours.
When placing a call to our office and our representatives are currently engaged, please ensure that you provide detailed information regarding the patient you are referencing, including their date of birth, as well as your own contact information. We will promptly return your call as soon as possible.
For housecall patients, it's important to note that we do not operate as an urgent care service. While accommodating same-day face-to-face visits can be challenging, we will make our best effort to send out a provider within 5 business days.
Typically, housecall patients are scheduled for monthly visits, although this frequency may be adjusted as necessary due to a patient's medical needs or scheduling constraints. However, it is strongly recommended that the minimum visit frequency be set at once every 3 months. Patients or their designated power of attorney (POA) who do not adhere to this schedule may be subject to discharge from our service, as the company reserves the right to take such action.
In cases where a patient repeatedly fails to attend appointments without a valid reason, the company retains the authority to discharge the patient's services.
In terms of safety awareness for housecall patients, we kindly request that you secure and separate your pets, particularly dogs, to prevent any unintended incidents or injuries.
